Digital single-lens reflex camera

Widely known as DSLR are the power horse in camera race, one is better the other ,unbelievable performance ,wide varieties ,vast number of choices off course all come with some price that can burn hole in your pockets.
But my point is do you need DSLR camera for daily use?
my answer would be "No" , unless you are a kind of person who does lot of out door activities and would freeze the moment for ever or if you want to pursue the hobby of photography which was quite a expensive hobby to have a decade ago is affordable now .. all thanks to DSLR's .
And if you want to be a professional photographer then you you probably need a mid range or high end DSL's
